Forced to postpone their friendly against Morecambe on 28th as 'a planned protest has come to light'

Pretty strong action being taken by their fans. I don't know if I'd advocate the postponement of matches but they're in a poor way. Surely Brad will be concerned at the move?

Definitely won't help them in their preparations for the new season. Wouldn't be surprised to see them struggling again next season.

At least their fans are doing something.

Bad move for Brad though, grass isn't always greener.

Not really a bad move though, both teams ran by clowns in the boardroom buy he will be on 3 or 4 times as much as he was getting at Carlisle,we would all do it given the chance.

Our problems compared to whats going on in Blackpool are tiny . One of the biggest problems they have is a concert on the pitch 2 weeks before the season starts and they are planning to try and disrupt that any way they can to stop there owner pocketing more money . I can see them having the lowest attendance next season in league 1 along with many games having more away support than home . Well thats if they are allowed to have fans in the ground as they plan to invade thee pitch at any opportunity and get the games abandoned until oyston's leaves.
They've even gone as far as making there own new home kit with oyston out on it instead of the clubs badge lol

Maybe Potts takes the view that they must have passionate fans so its a good move for him.

Without a change of owner, Blackpool will follow Stockport and Tranmere.

I deal with a few diehard Blackpool supporters through my line of work. They all guarantee me that Brad Potts will be on no more than what he was on or offered here.

I think this will prove to be a very bad move for Brad Potts!

Blackpool wont go bust, oyston makes too much money out of it he wont let it go bust as he wont be able to pocket all the cash, he'll keep it as a yoyo club between the championship and league 1, he will cream off the money from that. The problem is with this style of protest they are cutting off nose to spite their face ,as if they are just decreasing the chances of any success this season. the problem they have it Blackpool's current way of generating money is through sources outside of football E.g the hotel. So not turning up for matches wont really effect the club financially it will just effect the players moral. Also As for Potts he could either play for a league 2 club in disaster of a league 1 club in disaster but on 2/3 times the wages.

At Blackpool the grass is literally not greener and the pitch reflects the rotten state of affairs at that Club, those who run Blackpool should be well and truley ashamed and i salute their fans and wish them well.
