Not taking into account your own preference which side do you think will win?

I would say STAY 52.8 % LEAVE 47.2%

Let's see who is closest.

I'm voting leave but I think remain will win by 5% - 10%... people will probably crap their pants and stick with the status quo based on Project Fear's picture of doom if we leave.

Throughout the scottish independence referendum if you went by facebook/twitter then out were going to win about 9-1

Thankfully it was just another proof of 'empty vessels make the most noise'

It's the time for a fresh start and a new sense of pride in the country, I'm committed LEAVE - as I was in 1975.

There is no good future for Britain, for our children, for our NHS for our Quality of Life tied to this unfortunate and unworkable bunch of untrustworthy politicians, ours included.

I'm hoping for a minor miracle, but expect it to be in favour of REMAIN, say 52 to 48.

At one time I would have said narrow Remain win because of the barrage of scaremongering and threats coming from Dodgy Dave, his pals in big business, and the "independent" experts (all of who have their own reasons for wanting us to stay in).

However, now I'm not so sure. There's been a tangible change in how people are voting in this country, that reflects the fact they'r sick to the back teeth of voting the way they're told to, and are finally ready to think for themselves. To quote Jack Black, they're 'stickin it to the man' B)

It's the same reason that UKIP have been picking up far more votes than they were "supposed to", and why Corbyn was elected Labour Leader by a large margin.

It doesn't happen often, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the bookies may have egg on their faces come Friday morning.

I do too to be honest. I think, though, a lot depends on the ability of the out campaign to get voters to the polling booths. If they do they could end up being comfortable winners, say 52.5 to 47.5.

There's a big new poll being released at 4.30pm today apparently (after the betting markets close) by Opinium, who I gather were the top pollsters at the last General Election. Sample size of 3,000 which is much bigger than normal, so could be an interesting one to keep an eye on.

Well weve got a 15 seater hired and are targeting a couple of big companies [ Bensons for Beds head office ] at lunchtime and the local care homes for the rest of the day.

I find it strange that Remain voters think OUT will do it yet the Leavers think IN will just scrape it.

Put Remain to win by 55-60% on with Sky Bet, 9/4 while 50-55% is 6/4.

I may be wrong but I think he was referring to Churchill's famous peace sign, though he rarely used the palm-in version, which is now taken as an offensive gesture.

Hoping that Leaving the EU will be like showing said gesture to Jean-Claude Juncker, Angela Merkel and other unnamed EU supporters.

If it is a Remain vote, I would be absolutely gobsmacked if it was as clear as that.

I still reckon the polls are masking quite a few "shy Brexiteers" who are quite rightly pissed off at being labelled racists and xenophobes (etc), and who are probably keeping their cards close to their chest until they get into the polling booths.

By the same token, some of the racists and xenophobes, who are massively shouty on facebook, will be the people who've never worked in their lives yet complain about foreigners taking their jobs, and they won't be arsed getting out of bed to vote, then they'll be able to complain if the vote goes against them.

If you don't vote you don't have a right to complain.

If you don't like any of the options, spoil the paper, at least you've gone and voted.

Sadly you can't choose your bedfellows in a single question vote like this, very strange situation. My reasons for wanting out are the same as those of Tony Benn - and not Nick Griffin - so if the knuckle draggers want to use their votes to inadvertently help increase immigration opportunities from the Commonwealth (which is what I personally hope would happen) then that's fine by me. The resulting meltdown on Britain First would be a joy to watch

I've actually tried to explain that to some people, it is a pointless exercise.

"I'm voting leave because I can't stand the Poles taking our jobs".

"How will that help"?

"It'll stop immigration".

"No, we just won't have to adhere to free movement within the EU, there'll still be migrants coming in".

"Yeah, but they won't be Poles, or Turks".

"No, they'll be Indian, Bangladeshi, Singaporean, West Indian, African, Chinese".

Meltdown.

The likes of Britain First will have no place to go if its a No on Thursday as the formation of a New party and movement will take away the legitimate end of what they do meaning a move to take away their present status would probably succeed but people have to accept that Politics is changing and even mainstream parties will have their activist elements as they do in all other European countries and as i see it the big losers then would be the Tories who would only be able to muster a gang of blue rinsers and a few ex Eton knobs who are no match for UKIP never mind anyone else.

Was an interesting article the other week about how the mainstream parties across Europe are losing ground as people look for alternatives.

The common perception is there is a rise of similar far-right parties, when a closer inspection reveals none of these parties are anything like each other. As an example, the issues of say Austria's so called far-right are different from Sweden's who are different from Portugal. Indeed most of them aren't really 'far-right', more based on certain issues.

Basically the 'average Joe' is sick of the traditional parties and looking for better representation. The days of a couple of parties getting 30-40% of a vote each are disappearing fast. Indeed, if we had proportional voting, the rise of parties such as UKIP would confirm this.

People are losing faith in traditional politics and certain voting systems fast.

"No, they'll bendian, Bangladeshi, Singaporean, West Indian, African, Chinese I".

Meltdown.

But only if theyve got enough points

Cant see the fields of Lincolnshire being filled with any of them can you ?

If they are needed enough it will be. We'll soon have Australian style working holiday Visas set up to legitimise young eastern Europeans coming over.

They may not have a right to stay, but the highest cause of illegal migrants we have in the country are those who overstay following their visa.

As for healthcare and benefits in general. Migrants represent a relatively low user group of the NHS. Nor can they claim any benefits for the 1st 4 years they are here, If they even stay that long as the vast majority don't stay permanently.

I kind of agree on the NHS front deckchair but the more migrants that populate our shores the less room and staff the NHS will have to look after our overweight beer swilling junk food eating smokers .

Yes youre right there but once we make the Border Force fit for purpose and stop pissing about. We book a plane to Warsaw on a Friday afternoon then Border Force have a week to fill it and the plan is to use one of the old decommissioned prisons as an up to 3 days holding centre. And as Boris says an ammnesty for anyone who can prove theyve been here illegally for over 12 years that is of course if theyre in a position to pay an estimated income tax and healthcare bill for the time theyve been here.

In terms of numbers you may be right but when you have East European governments actively paying for people with serious illnesses that each cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to treat and will do till they either die or get better to come here it doesnt take a lot of them to run up bills into the millions does it ? The hospital trust in Preston claim they could wipe out their entire defecit if they were able to recover the cost of treating non british passport holding EU nationals.

And as for the benefits issue i think you.ll find that that legislation doesnt start to take effect for another 12 months

But the legislation is still in place, so it is happening isn't it.

Any proof of those claims about sending sick people over or just more made up 'facts' ?

There is going to be an amnesty on all EU nationals currently in the country, they will all be given indefinite leave to remain.

Why would any illegal immigrants need to pay a healthcare bill ? By their very nature of being an illegal immigrant they wouldn't have been able to access any healthcare services. Not to mention that illegal immigrants will be from outside the EU, so nothing to do with the current referendum.

How can that be a plan. The suggestion I made of working holiday Visas was purely because other countries do it. So you've basically made up a deportation schedule based on something that I said which may or may not even happen.

You can't have a plane for warsaw booked and border force given a week to fill it as that would mean unfair targeting of a specific nationality of people. Which is banned under the Race Relations Act.

But the legislation is still in place, so it is happening isn't it.

Yes its happening starting in 12 months time as i said

Any proof of those claims about sending sick people over or just more made up 'facts' ?

if i find the article i.ll post it but as i.m sure you can understand i.m pretty busy right now planning tomorrows operation the bit about Preston hospital was in the Evening Post about 6 months ago.

There is going to be an amnesty on all EU nationals currently in the country, they will all be given indefinite leave to remain.

Yes for any that can prove theyve been here over 12 years otherwise theyre on the list

Why would any illegal immigrants need to pay a healthcare bill ? By their very nature of being an illegal immigrant they wouldn't have been able to access any healthcare services. Not to mention that illegal immigrants will be from outside the EU, so nothing to do with the current referendum.

Because the NHS treats first and asks questions later and i think you.ll find that most of the EU illegals have false identity documents i have a draw full of East European passports if you know where to go they cost 25 quid each.

How can that be a plan. The suggestion I made of working holiday Visas was purely because other countries do it. So you've basically made up a deportation schedule based on something that I said which may or may not even happen.

No idea what youre talking about there i.m talking about the list the Border Force have of people who need deporting but they havnt the resources to it under Nigels plans money is taken from immigrants for various things that money is directly invested in a Border Force thats fit for purpose to do what it was set up to do protect our borders from people who shouldnt be here wether they be EU.s with no rights any longer Syrians whove hidden in lorries or visa overstayers. No point having or paying for a Border force otherwise.

You can't have a plane for warsaw booked and border force given a week to fill it as that would mean unfair targeting of a specific nationality of people. Which is banned under the Race Relations Act.

[b[ Well youd better get on and report them because i can tell for a fact those planes leave here every week as it is right now but because the BF is so underfunded and in total disarray that quite often they leave just a third full costing a bloody fortune. How do i know this you might ask well thats because my brother in law flies out on them from Manchester every week as an escort and he will tell you the list is 750.000 people long including nearly 100k who have either committed a crime here and therefore have lost any right to stay and all the ones that have fled their countries before trial or after conviction and they want them back to serve their sentences [/b]
