Bumble Offline Youth Team Player Posts: 492 Likes received: 348	First thoughts: Don't fancy the trip to Portsmouth in August,could be a 12 hour hike. Finish at Exeter. good for the West Coasters but not a great place to go if we need something to win the title! Not a bad run in through April. Nor very kind to us over the Christmas period financially. no home game between 17 Dec and 2 Jan. If 2 Jan is 3rd round cup day, could be a very lean time.

I don't know what everybody get's so excited about. We play everybody home and away over a nine month period. It's the same every year!

If we were in the Championship or Premier League you could get excited but what does it matter what date we play Accrington or Cheltenham.

I reckon they've gave us such a poor set of fixtures as they're sick to death of that pain in the arse John Nixon at the meetings!

Aye your right Nobby, but..............a relatively small club like ours you would expect some decent fixtures on some of the key dates, we need to make money as much as any bugger else.

Playing away at Hartlepool in April during hopefully our run-in towards the promotion places while they are scrapping against relegation makes it the stand-out fixture to look forward to. I just hope they can afford the bill for the extra police that will be needed.

I wouldn't be so sure about us scrapping for relegation this year, but feel free to fill the away end nobody else does.
