Yes, really looking forward to it, seems ages since the end of the season. Going to be a nightmare working out who's who though.

The club only has a small carpark, which is used for players and staff, but there is roadside parking fairly near the ground.

From memory the stretch by Ground and Cricket Club is all double yellow, though there's a stretch when you come from Town near the Industrial Estate you can use...

From a contributor:

At the football ground when the players, staff, committee, supporters and the away team coach are there it is amost full, so the average away supporter misses out.

Club Car Park (probably full when CUFC fans arrive)

On Parkside Road 200 yards from the ground (between the ground and Lound Road) there is this free car park. During the business day it is nearly always at least half full but by 6:30pm it has plenty of room.

The football club bar is quite good for Kendal Town's level but also opposite the club's car park the Netherfield cricket club bar has always been open when this friendly is played. Just walk along the pavement and then up the cricket club's path to the side of the pavilion that faces the playing surface.

Yes, there are double yellows next to the ground, it was that bit near the Industrial Estate I was thinking of, usually enough room there for an ordinary match but we may bring more. A good spot by Griff with that car park, should be fairly empty by the time Carlisle fans need it.

£4 for adults, kids free. Not bad prices really, unlike those [censored] at Workington charging a tenner to get in their shit tip.

Possibly because it clashes with the Wales semi-final.

You'll be pleased to know that there has been a price increase for this coming season of a quid or two.

"Kendal based club sponsors Romney's Mintcake have provided bars of their Kendal Mintcake for the first 40 paying home or away supporters through the turnstile at tonight's home pre season friendly against Carlisle United's first team squad.
Kick off is at 7.45pm"
