We could do that with some of our players, and just leave them there.

It will just be more David Brentesque team building cobblers.... like last year when they did lots of team building exercises... blindfolding a player and having a team mate guiding him over an obstacle course. Well it sure worked last season!

They are probably being split into teams to build a raft to paddle over lake Windemere or something equally pointless. Maybe it's a survival course in the Lakes... let's hope one or two of them don't make it back

Come the start of the season they'll all be knackered. There are lots of things they could be doing in the Lakes and it's right on their doorstep so they should be making full use of it to be fair. Get them out for a run with a few fell runners and see who can last the pace.

Just read Roy Keanes book where he took Ipswich to SAS training, said it didn't work at all.

BTW, thought he was a bit of a prick but having read his second book where he is very reflective and self critical, he is less so. Says he made loads of mistakes and played up to the moody git we all know him for. A great read and a cracking quote after one of his strikers was booked for taking his top off.....along the lines of.

For [censored] sake, some lads can take their top off but not you, you little fat C**t , with your body gat percentage you will get my fitness coach sacked,!
