Well done to them both especially Nick Miller who has just broken the British hammer throwing record making him one of the top guys at the moment and to Farrell who has just qualified for the world championships he's in a good run of form having won the British title for 5000 metres.

When I saw the title of this thread I was worried you'd had a breakdown and we're revealed your all time best Blues strike partnership

I wouldn't agree with that, Nicky Miller is a team player but I wouldn't say Tom Farrell is. I have never seen him turn out for Border when he has been in the UK but Nick has.

I remember Nick working in the Lowther Arms at Cumwhinton clearing tables as a young lad still at school. He used to talk of his ambitions and now he is getting there. Well done son.

I spoke to Nick about 10 days ago and he was saying it's hard to find somewhere to train when he's back in carlisle. The sheepmount isn't always available.

Seemed a nice lad who has worked hard for his success. Wouldn't mess with him mind!!
