TOPIC: Curle and Nixon

I went down to the club yesterday afternoon to register some people as disabled on the system

Curle and Nixon were having a right good go at each other, very heated, in the car park. As soon as they realised somebody was watching it stopped and Nixon went inside.

Seemed to be about offering a player a contract, Osei I think, and Curle was repeatedly yelling "You've gone back on your word"

There's the Potts and Dempsey money sorted then. Directors' back pockets as suspected. If you're right of course.

Whatever it is that good old John has gone back on his word on, I'm sure he did it in 'the best interests of the club'.

So don't worry.

On the surface it might well be funny, and let's be honest we could all do with a laugh, but when we get to reality you have to worry about something like this. The club has lost a couple of goalscoring midfield players from a team that has not really managed to score that many goals in recent years. We've received a fair bit in transfer fees for those two players, and from what Curle has been saying some (at least) of that cash was coming his way to finish his recruitment. Nixon needs that money to hang on to his little empire, now that he had blown off Lapping (no pun intended).
He's the lowest of the low and about as untrustworthy as is possible, and yet some folk still want to go along and line his pockets, while he takes the pi** out of them.

Can anybody knock this car park 'scrap' scene up on MS Paint or summat? Curle, Nixon, Mullen stood in his cardi and CMW with his Aldi carrier bag?

Not my best effort... but here you go!

We came round the corner and seen Curle in the track suit he has had on all summer going bonkers with Nixon. Nixon was adamant that the money promised to curle was going on a new suit for himself. Nixon was in a right state as the FA have lodged a complaint under section 9 of the FA rules on being scruffy, really concerned he was losing his FA gig........just then CMW came out of reception with an Aldi bag and a fight broke out between Nixon and CMW, looks like JN thought Courtney was using the aldi bag as cover for pinching food out of Foxys., and to add insult to injury, was blaming the clubs profitability problem on Courtney's appetite. As it turned out as they grappled for the aldi bag, a large paper nandos bag flew out. Courtney was fined on the spot and made to so 5 press ups in the car park. Meanwhile Curle was still going mad saying that he has not brought in any replacement coaches in order to free up money to sign a trialist. Nixon barked back by saying Curle had to keep the lad hanging on an extended trial until the new owners came in but told Curle not to give the lad any timescales as we have a lock out agreement with the confidentiality people who draw up our contracts and they are not contactable at the moment. Curle told him where to get off and told him he got more sense out of the speaking clock.

Just as it started getting tasty, it was interrupted by the arrival of a British gas van at reception who were on site to switch gas onto BP. Electric is coming next week all thanks to Kyle Demsey. Demsey money is also being used for a new typewriter in the typing pool.

It's true honestly. Obviously Nixon knows who I am couldn't of been anyone worse for him really.

Was busy yesterday afterwards as had to go to the hospital that's why I couldn't post it to this morning.

You've already got your doubts. I'm just reporting what I seen and heard.

I got a lift down I was standing by the ticket office , not in the bin, and I saw Nixon standing by the main entrance and the back of Curles head. They were having a big argument where Curle mentioned Osei and kept repeating "you've gone back on your word" I never caught what Nixon said as was too quiet. I popped my head around the corner in where Nixon realised someone was there and he went inside, I went back to the car.

That's all there was too it.
