not so long ago there was press release from Nixon stating that he would step down from the MD position once the club takeover/investment had gone through. was this another lie from him or the media?

from what we have all read recently was the board reshuffle, new chairman and MD coming in on the 31st of July, with Jenkins and Nixon stepping down. so are we closer to a takeover/investment from the billionaire than we thought?
