At some point in the future something like this could work for Carlisle... sew a few patches onto a decent quality generic adidas top and sell them for 20 odd quid.. better than forking out 40 quid for a cheap sondico kit and any profit wouldn't be going to Mike Ashley or whoever is next to be in charge of our kit supplies.... I remember during the 94/95 season you used to see blue shirts everywhere... we'll probably have to be flying at the top of League 1 for it to be like that again

Twenty odd quid... that is taking the piss. You can order an excellent quality copy from www.aliexpress.com for way less than that... the money still doesn't go to Ashley and you get an excellent quality copy of the actual shirt. They claim to not be making a profit as well...somebody is laughing all the way to the bank with that one.

It would only work for us during periods where supporters didn't want to give money to the owners... during ordinary times then it just reduces the club's income and ultimately reduces our player budget.

copyright laws aren't as tight as you think... Anyway many of the shirts on sale on multiple internet sites for way less than £20 are slight seconds... But often tiny things you'd never notice. Colleague at work got a full Real Madrid kit for her little lad for £7.50. Brand new, looks perfect... But must have some error somewhere I guess.

As Northumbrian says it is not a breach of copyright laws.
It does not use any official club branding and loads of teams play in black and white stripes.

Haha it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that Newcastle Fans Group were buying those Adidas Shirts from Sports Direct. Pillocks.

It would be a good way for a supporters group to make some money... and to show a bit of opposition to the current regime... if only our club had a supporters group or trust that had the support of most fans.....
