All as per the secret conversation thread. Does he really think we are so gulable that we would happily and suddenly direct frustration to ....with respect...puppets just to keep JN out of the firing line.

Whilst writing, Nixon questioned the capability and investment from lapping steam..........errm, nothing against the poor 2 puppets that have been thrown in front of the bus but what experience so they have in Directorship of a multi million pound business?

It's a joke Nixon, and all played out as per the prediction

Rewarding?? Maybe his FA paid trips abroad and freebies on their gravy train but there has been [censored] all rewarding for us fans who have watched the club die with cancer over the majority of his time at the helm.

What an absolute moron,

What an absolute moron,

The paid trip abroad is the Football League (AGM), not FA. Every club has to send their representatives to that.

My comment on the last thread got deleted (I assume) so will tone it down a bit for the moderators.

I don't think he's entirely honest and am not convinced he's the Carlisle fan he says he is.

Hope that doesnt offend :)

No way does he support carlisle utd. Hes a man driven by money and personal status a man who when we win celebrates because its another step up his greasy sh1t pole and if we lose its a step nearer us going down the pan with a ground sale firmly in his sights and a million pun in his back pocket for a quid invested .

The ultimate shithouse

'Director of External Affairs' sounds like some kind of Stasi death squad.

Im taking what it really means is 'Director of FA Gravy Train Positions'

If there is anyone out there who really, really believes JN is no longer in full control, I am desperate to hear from you.

I have £20,000,000 sat in an overseas account I cannot access for political reasons. All I need is your bank account number, sort code, cashcard number and pin. I can then transfer this money to your account, and as a thank you, you can keep half.

He may have stepped down as MD but he still part owns the club so nothing has changed. He is still able to wreck havoc on the club but now can blame it on others. So thanks for nothing John

Just a change of job title... nothing more. The sad thing is he only did this as he knows a certain percentage of our fans are gullible enough to believe he actually has stepped down. He will probably achieve his aim and reduce the pressure on himself. A few good results early on and they will probably get away with this shambles as the majority of fans will simply be happy we are winning and believe the statements released by the club. The sad reality is we will be stuck in the same hole as we have been for several years, dying a slow death.

There's a very simple way for him to prove that he's genuinely relinquished control, and that this isn't simply a bit of deckchair moving in order to keep the torches and pitchforks at bay.

1. Retract the rejection of the Lapping deal, contact Andrew Lapping and tell him his offer is still under consideration, and that it will now be dealt with by whoever is now running the club.

2. Advise the "billionaire's" agent/mate/translator/personal trainer (or whatever) that Nixon is no longer their contact, and that all future "negotiations" will be handled by, once again, whoever is now running the club.

If both of these things happen, and are proven to - and confirmed by - a genuinely independent observer, then I'll accept that he's really gone.

Until then, as far as I'm concerned, he's about as much "gone" as Pattison is.

i. e., not very.

Depends on your definition of 'gone'. It can mean so many things depending on context and innuendo ;)
