Weren't we feeling exactly the same last season? That we'd assembled a decent squad and would start well. I can't believe people give any weight to friendly performances... It is a terrible indicator of how the team will perform in the season. We won't know how good the signings are and how we are likely to perform until the league games start. Fingers crossed we have brought in some decent players... But we have absolutely no idea whether that is the case yet.

Be an interesting season. I agree with Zebby Cambridge are demanding promotion a race but it will be interesting to see how their team cope with that. I believe there chairman or MD has even come out publicly and said so. It will be interesting to see how we cope competitively, the friendlies mean nothing but there are positive signs. So minimum expectation is 6 points and anything over 9-10 points is a great start!
