Heard a rumour that the reason for Noels House Party's demise wasn't because it was rubbish but was due to a little known legal wrangle.
Apparently Mr Blobby was the brainchild of Sir Harry Seacombe. Seacombe stipulated to Edmonds that he wished to be buried in the original suit, which also contained the blobby voice box.
When he died his wish was granted, however no one had bothered to replicate the voice box before the burial. Subsequent attempts to recapture the voice styling failed and therefore no more Mr blobby.
No blobby, no more house party. Which is a shame because it was an excellent programme.
Anyone else heard this today?
