Nice to see he is keeping up the pressure with his article in the N&S; yesterday.

Thanks for the post wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Very well executed as always and gets to the point.
Is it aimed at the phantom billionaire or the Pinocchio twins though?

I think this needs to happening all the time, the fans, the media should be doing open letters emails etc (along with banners!). We should give messages of support to the team, encouragement to would be buyers that we will support them if they do good for the club and the city. Lastly we should let the current regime know how we feel about them at every opportunity.

What a cracking read...its his satirical way at saying the whole a affair is really a crock of shite!...Do keep it up and have some more little digs in the local paper....

He needs to do some proper investigative journalism and expose these lying crooks for the filth that they are.

As amusing as that open letter is, it's no different to what's been posted on this messageboard, over the last 81 days or so. He should be exposing these clowns for what they are. That letter will have the same impact as what's already been posted on here - absolutely zero!!! Time to earn your crust JC. Can't believe these amateurs (JN & AJ) are taking the p1ss out of all the local media, as easy as they are!! :(

This was mentioned on Twitter a while back, for him to investigate. Nothing came of it. The local media need to keep up the pressure for us. Sadly Radio Cumbria will tow the line with the regime..

Tend to agree. They should be exposed on a wider level the N&S; sports pages. All due respect to Jon Coleman, who seems to be doing as much as he can, and N&S;, but the local paper's sports section will have no more effect than this messageboard and we all know how totally unsuccesful that has been

The difference to what's been posted on this messageboard is that it is a succinct compilation of most of the key questions and worries and will have a slightly broader audience. Not sure what you mean by earning his crust. Surely writing a decent piece for the newspaper that pays your wages is a pretty good definition of earning your crust! What's the man to do?!

I meant time for him to make a difference, time for him to do some 'proper' journalistic work, not just go through the motions with letters to billionaires... time do some long overdue digging into what these [censored] are up to (blueyonder, happy for us to plummet down leagues, shafting Lapping, mystery billionaire who only wants to invest in 45% of club, rumours left, right & centre...) surely there's enough to go on there?

Not bothered about reading some half arsed p1ss take, knocked up in 10 minutes during his lunch break - can come on here for that.

The 2 (or is it 3) custodians will have had a chuckle over that open letter in the same way they would at some of the stuff on here.

Have to admit an article hidden in the middle of the paper isn't going to have a lot of impact but it's still better than nothing.

And was the Saturday`s edition which I wouldn`t have thought has the circulation that a weekday or Cumberland News has.

On the call for some real investigative journalism - he needs to get somebody under cover posing as a footballer, somebody like Billy Paynter. ;) ..................who should be able to listen at keyholes - install bugs, tap phone lines -we need a mole asap!
