TOPIC: Ticket Fiasco

Just had a text off someone whos been a regular for 40 years. After trying this afternoon for ages to get through to buy his ticket for the Wimbledon game in his regular spot in B Stand finally got through only to be told there was only rows E or F available. Said where he usually sits but was basically told its row E or F or nowt so hes not going. Things just get better and better at our club dont they?

his regular seat isn't available but nearby seats are, and he's not going because of that?

No his seat is there ive just looked online. they would only sell rows E or F.

Sorry guys, bought tickets for tonight and Saturday over the phone in less than five minutes including waiting???? and no, I'm not Steve Pat. er..or John Nixon

A minor grievance perhaps, but fiasco? Nahhh.

If he insists on having the same seat, he can't complain about not getting it unless he has a season ticket.

I think this is a bit of an unfair criticism of the club

Thank fook I had the foresight to order my tickets last week for the first two home games after reading people problems with getting some this week. That's not to say I can predict which ticket off they will be in as sometimes that can be a lottery.

I arrived at the East Stand to collect two tickets at 7.15 tonight, to collect!!!! I made it into the ground while the players were coming out.

In the normal queue i.e no prebooked tickets which was queued down the length of the East Stand I can genuinely say I saw at least 10 people, one family of 5 come to the conclusion that it was a joke and walked away.

Not only did cufc lose there business tonight, IF that family had been there tonight you would like to think they would be back on Sat given the performance tonight,

I myself had I been in 20min before K.O would have bought two pints two burgers, some snacks, probably a golden gamble and maybe even a programme instead I was stood outside with my blood boiling.

It's an absolute shambles a real and utter joke and if anyone at that club thinks that is acceptable then I'm sorry but they need there head examined

I went to get my ticket for the paddock at around 6.15, there was only four people in front of me but it still took 10 minutes to get my ticket. Thankfully I wasn't asked for my postcode. It just seemed the system was slow, rather than being asked a load of questions. Hopefully the teething problems will be ironed out soon and anyone who can should buy early for Saturday.

I picked my pre-booked tickets up about 10 mins before kick-off and there was still a large queue at the East Stand. I wouldn't be surprised if many of them walked away. To have two people serving for the amount of folk wanting tickets they'd have been lucky to see the first 30 mins.

Talk about looking after your customers, they seem determined to drive more people away.

It got served around 19.35 and there were definitely three windows serving then. Just seemed to be very slow

Used the print at home option and was shocked to see the tickets not condensed into one sheet.

Three separate A4 sheets with a huge club crest about 4/5 of the page and a little rectangle at the top with a barcode on. Doesn't seem the best for the environment larkkkk

As the crowds get smaller the queues at the ticket office get longer.

Arrived at the ground around 7.30 large queues for the paddock ticket office no obvious signs of cash gates advertised so joined the queue after about 5minutes stewards instructed that gates 6&7 were cash only so the queue split in two then numerous people turned away at cash gates and had to join back of the ticket office queue as was full adult price only.
Had a mate with me who never been a game and he was like should be a big crowd by the amount of people queuing, he was quite shocked at how low it was when announced.

We bought tickets at paddock ticket office at about 7pm, the tickets were printed without barcodes on, so the turnstile operator
couldnt scan them, the stewards got a message from suzanne kidd to tell the operator to just tear the stub off the ticket, there was about 6 folk behind me and it was the same with their tickets

Same here and my Cambridge ticket is exactly the same. The tickets don't exactly look professional either, looks like summat out of Conference North.

not sure if I am the only one but ticket bought online just under two weeks ago for this weekend, no ticket rocked up yet, coincidence?

Either way am going have to phone the ticket office tomorrow from work which causes massive problems and was why I bought it online in the first place, well that and I hate queues

Ticketmaster charge for print at home services, and claim the fees cover things like ensuring access control at venues, so having the appropriate people/technology in place to read and validate the tickets.

Nonsense if you ask me.

Tried online several times to no avail, kept freezing on seat selection, ended up phoning this morning, 16 minute phone call.
If hadn't promised my lad I would take him would have fucked it off tbh.
Must be a easier, efficient way to just buy 2 tickets.

Just tried to buy two tickets via the online ticketing and it is not showing any matches available to buy tickets for. I haven't got time to waste 20 minutes on the phone at work so may have to stump up the extra money to buy on the day. It's bloody annoying though.

Just been down and renewed flexi ticket and got match ticket for tomorrow within around 5mins. Seems they are having to transfer details over to the new system which added a bit of time. Service friendly as always so walked away without any moans for a change.

Presume there is a reason why the club has implemented a new system anyone know why?

Allows the club to see where their ST holders live/travel from, and same with away match goers, and also those who pay on the day. Will give them the ability to run marketing campaigns and target people with specific offers etc.
