TOPIC: Bilionaire at last nights game

If you were at last nights game you could have been standing or sitting next to him.Was he there or some sort of joke no one can prove he wasnt but we have to keep mentioning this so called billionaire and not let it fade .We cant let the Blatter brothers away with this sham everytime someone meets them or the press do interviews bring it to the top of the agenda and keep it in the spotlight .

A counter on the back page of the News & Star each day would be good, for the number of days since they broke the news that a billionaire wanted to invest in our club.

Must be about 85 days now, is it?

Superb, completely agree with post Badger.

I was not a fan of the Lapping deal but after such a debacle I must say I have no confidence in Nixon and Jenkins either. Inventing a Billionaire to ward off a unwanted deal was sheer incompetence, as it would have been obvious to even a two-year old, that unless there was one (now surely not to be) there would have to a climb-down along with loss of credibility.
To my mind that is why they have withdrawn from front-line club management....hopefully, fingers crossed.
PS Showing such managerial incompetence, how they have they become so wealthy in there buisness roles beats me

That's all the truth they will need to save their skins. When it's eventually sold it will be sold to a wealthy person who that lives outside of the area so need the JN muppet to take a more hands on role. That will be the conditions of the sale I'm sure as the opposite is what madethem cracp themselves at the thought of being thrown out by lapping.

The statement will be along the lines of......
"The deal with the billionaire has broken down but in the best interests of CUFC, we have been actively speaking to a number of interested parties and are pleased to announce that XXXX as the new owner of CUFC. Whilst not a billionaire, he and his group are very wealthy and will give the club a sustainable platform for the club to move forward under new ownership with new ideas and investment. As XXXX group are located in XXX, they have asked that JN takes up a hands on role and that AJ takes up a life president role"....,,,back to normal then eh?

However..............pre match on Tuesday, walking to BP with radio on - James Phillips was interviewing trusty old Lord Clark of Windermere - he asked him the very pertininent question about the existance of the billionaire, and that some fans remained sceptical, to which he replied, oh there is a very wealthy person alright in negotiations, or words to that effect AND he said he knew who he was and where he came from -

so that would seem to back up the chuckle brothers claims

or after that he could have a nose like Pinnochio
