Anyone know who the lad on the left wing in the second half was. Defence looked stronger in the second half. Nearly gave away stupid goals a couple of times in the first half.

Things are looking up already with a clean sheet. As for only scoring four goals against lads who will have been at work or on the piss until 2AM Booooooooo!

Horseman Out.

The second half was a bit of a difficult watch.
Hope is as deadly in front of goal as I remember.
It was just a kickabout, but my matchday experience was improved by having a beer on the terrace.

Concerned that we've already used up a quarter of our season's entire clean sheet quota.

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

-2 nice finishes from Kennedy, first after good build up, second a nice dink over the keeper.
-Couldn't tell what happened on the second, clearance rebounded off someone I think (possibly Hope)
-Only first team squad members not involved were, I think, O'Sullivan, Jones, Egan and Holt.
-5 trialists on at half time, one replaced by another midway through second half, one scored with great finish after a one-two with Nabi
-Standout trialist definitely lad at left wing back second half, no idea who he was but good touch, composed on the ball and made good runs, good up and down well, definitely worth another look.
-If you Google "Archetypal League 2 centre half" and click on Images, the only picture that comes up is one of Tom Parkes (not a bad left foot tbf, tho carrying a bit of timber). I wouldn't term him "mobile" and I'd definitely be checking his birth certificate again, looks about 35.
-All in all, good day out in the sunshine and got to see some new players, nice to see a decent turnout as well.

O'Sullivan has a knock judging from his Twitter, maybe just too early for Jones?

Holt and Egan played for Youth in Gretna Cup...

I was a bit disappointed in Salkeld today.

Physically he looks a million miles away from being ready to challenge for a first team place.

I think a half season loan to Workington would do him some good.

Agree about the lad on the left looking like he's worth another look at. The defence in the second half looked more composed although there was no real threat.

Anyone know what happened to Dan Brown the youth team player that was given extra time. Looked a good prospect this time last season but picked up a nasty injury.

It wasn't Alex McQueen by any chance was it? :S

I'd be very disappointed Asamoah didn't get a run out.

Aye, Brisley to carry on the same way as he did last season - a liability.

Is Brisley still on the transfer list or 'available for transfer list' and did Ellis make an appearance or is he off I wonder?

Brisleys last big pay day I reckon this season, there will be plenty of takers for Ellis.

Etuhu and Parkes looked very strong - may give a welcome boost to our defensive capabilities. Etuhu also had a good range of passing. Hope looked lively and a lot bigger than I thought he was. Bonham not really troubled. Too early to make conclusions but a good start

Level of opposition too weak to make proper judgment, but thought Etuhu did stand out as you say...
