Why on earth would a new stadium be the main priority. Unless you live on another planet you will have noticed we are in league 2 only narrowly avoiding relegation. Surely the priority has to be to build a team regain the confidence of the fans and get some supporters through the gate. Look at Darlington fancy stadium, no fans to fill it where are they now.

don't worry, we all know which way this is heading.
a couple of decent results, sitting top half, billionaire will suddenly lose interest and disappear into the sunset. nixon will cite he didn't really have the funds / didn't have the same vision / wasn't good for the club etc etc, nixon will claim credit for seeing through the charlatan and we should all be greatful for his incredible business accumen, for which he isn't being paid, and we should be thankful that the club is once again on a steady keel in his safe hands.

Are you not confusing the two meanings ?

The lock out agreement is just an exclusivity agreement that means we will use the developer and not go to anyone else. The board are simply choosing to keep the name of the developer under wraps.

Anybody investing in the club would probably see this during any due diligence done.
