TOPIC: Outlook and momentum will be this week

3 games in if you include the league cup, 1 win, 2 draws loads of goals, encouraging football and really decent attendance from what we have suffered during the declining years of Nixon.

So for me, a lot of the momentum, positive or negative will be created this week. 4-6 points out of the 2 games this week by Saturday night and people will be genuinely believing that we have a good season on our hands with a manager who knows what he is doing.

0-1 point return however will puncture the tyre before there is even any air in it. When CUFC fans get on board early and have something to look forward to on a Saturday, not many are better home or away. If we have a poor start it tends to set the scene for the entire season with only a good FA cup run likely of attracting any passing interest from the floaters.

That's a good post Halpo, I just hope people don't get too disheartened if we lose tomorrow. Plymouth is a tough place to go as we all know. Pitch up on Saturday regardless and lets get 3 points against Wimbledon.

Two league games, even four is way too soon to be any indicator of how the season will go.

If we are in the top half by Xmas I'll be as happy as a gull with a stolen chip.

i think your missing the point of the disharmony. shipping goals again no sign of improvement in that department, we've already been found out. put pressure on us trying to play out from the back and there are a hat full of goals to be harvested.
I think once we get the ball in the midfield we look 500 times better than the last few seasons but we can't get it there all the time, and those times are costing us dearly.

Ibere bailed us out on Saturday, we can't expect him to do it each week. where else are the goals going to come from?
