Thought he'd be useful in this division and didn't see the reason to release him. Although 3 red cards last season probably says something about his mentality.

Got a hell of a shot on him when he connects, but so does Symington! I guess it depends on what you interpret a "big future" to be. I really can't see him being more than a good L1 player, would have thought Championship would be a step too far for him.

I liked him and couldn't understand at the time why we let him go. His disciplinary record is shocking though!

He was the only midfielder id have kept when we got relegated. Still we got Alex Marrow in his place so all was well.

Like many others, he was terrific when we first signed him (on loan), only for Super Greg to coach whatever ability he had out of him.

He became a bit of a scapegoat under the clown even though he was the best MF we had at the time just so he could keep on picking his favourites Sideways and Mr.Invisible AKA Thirlwell&Berrett.;

But then bizarrely signed for Derry and Abbott at Notts County. I could never understand why Greg didn't play him then signed him for his new club!
