I've never seen out like it!

So 2 goals caused by slips, and 1 because they were messing about trying to pass it out from the back again. When will we learn? It's all well and good Keith Curle saying we can eradicate these errors, but the same happened on Saturday and just 3 days later we've let the same happen again. That's not learning is it!

We are effectively playing one centre back and two fulbacks.... and we are surprised that we are letting lots of goals in... flawed tactics.

Why is it that management does not see what is so obvious to fans? If management is no naive then they should not be employed.

New system needs time. It's a marathon not a sprint.

Apart from the 2nd goal we gifted those goals to them.

Been away so my first game live will be Saturday , only seen highlights and read reports.Last nights stats Carlisle 56 % possession ,8 corners to their 2 and the same shots on target 7 .We dominated most of the first half and should have been 2 up at the break, playing good football from the back.Thats the positives.
I have no problem with the system 5-3-2 if you have the correct players on , in the right positions to play it.The whole idea is to play from the back with the extra defender ,the wing backs took in and squeeze when we are not in possession and move out wide when we are.The problem for me is the two wide players last night seemed to not be able to play that role resulting in us Playing just 3 defenders , the wide players didn't defend when required and pushed up the field far to quickly when we had possession at the back .In other words don't put round pegs in square holes.

It's a nice idea this tippy tappy pass about at the back style but Grainger should be launching that ball for their 3rd! The pass Raynes made for the fourth was never on! You need players to recognise when they can and can't play! Stuff you learn at school.... if in doubt kick it out etc!

The issue here is not really the style of play but the players playing it! Seems like a dumb post but I'd be quite confident with Troy & CMW playing that role as they're both decent with the ball at their feet! Raynes and Grainger are not!

Sort it out KC I've been one of your advocates but continue to cut your nose off to spite your face and you'll have lost another!

Seeing as all four Cambridge goals came from preventable mistakes we've effectively given away seven goals in two games through shoddy play. There is a time and a place for it and in your final third is not the area you need to be pissing about with the ball.

It needs stopped post-haste or we'll be relegated by March.

What are the odds Raynes&Grainger; start on Saturday barring any injuries - 99%?

for the 3rd goal we lose the ball and one of our players just stands there and watches as everyone runs past. Eventually he turns and jogs back. by then it was too late.

Have just watched the 10 minutes of highlights on UnitedPlayerHD and whilst it's still concerning the way we're conceding, I'm not as doom and gloom as I was last night.

We really should have had 4 or 5 goals, but for some lucky deflections and some woeful finishing. This time last year we never looked like scoring, the good thing about us is we're creating loads of good chances per match.

Make no mistake, we need to tighten up, otherwise we'll be in trouble, but at least we look a constant threat at the other end and aren't being completely outplayed by teams.

It's great we are at least looking threatening up front but what worries me is we have new players and new tactics yet we continue to make the same silly mistakes. KC seems blind to the weaknesses of certain players yet makes others scapegoats. I know it's early days but whilst there are positive signs there are also worrying ones that could see this being another season of struggle.

Someone made a point one of the threads..we cannot rely on Jabooooo to outsore the opposition. Whilst that is the case we shall plummet.

I still think we'll survive but we've not won a match in 90 mins yet and the early positivity was misplaced.

Plenty of time left to correct things though..

There is plenty to be positive about. It's a work in progress and very early days
