In my opinion its make or break this season for Curle. The fans are fed up of being served up the same old dismal performances on the pitch and the under achieving that we have all become accustomed to over the years. All we get are the same old excuses and broken promises of better things to come, but it never happens.

Mr Curle has brought in his own players and appears to want the players to play the ball from the back. This is all very commendable but not at the expense of leaking goals and plumeting down the league table. I personally dont mind how the team gets three points as long as they are obtained. His methods at the moment are flawed and it is easy to blame the pitch as was the case at Plymoutyh, but its the same for both teams.

We desperately need an experienced centre back who can command the area and this has been obvious for ages. I jokingly remarked that KC would take positives from the Plymouth game and he did not disappoint in his after match comments.

Its time for KC to stop tinkering and get the defence sorted out preferably with the signing of a decent centre back as a priority.

think I`m with you Dunny - hope so anyway - what happened from the 1st 45 , a slip perhaps, letting them in to a wholesale collapse.

Wrong personnel in the wing back positions I`d say, yeah they are not defenders as someone else said.

The trouble is in Curle's mind the defence is sorted with Raynes in the middle and Captain Slippy alongside him. Now that Atkinson is injured (again) he's either going to have to play swallow his pride and play one of Troy or CMW which he doesn't want to do,sign Leacock who isn't ready or more likely go to the loan market before the Wimbledon game.
