thinking about it, that's something i'd like to see. B)

anyway, is this getting beyond personal now? Curle obviously doesn't rate him and won't play him but with what he's said to Bolton he's making pretty sure CMW won't be playing for anyone. what's his thinking here other than that he's a fruitloop?
it's not like we don't need a decent defender now that we're watertight at the back. oh, ... hang on....

The jury is still out on whether or not he actually is a decent defender.

I'd quite like to see him given another chance though. With Atkinson out, a Troy-Raynes-CMW back 3 would be worth a go imo.

Just read the interview with Curle, doesn't seem like we'll be seeing CMW in the team any time soon if ever again. Said something about changes needing to be made in order for him even to be in contention, so basically a vague enough excuse to justify leaving him out of the team consistently from here on out.

Agreed. If he’s gonna be an awkward bugger let him go. Shame cos he’s got talent but for me Curle proved last season that it works when he gets rid of the people he can’t work with (Paynter etc) and sticks with those he can. Thought even against Penrith that CMW wasn’t on the same page as the rest of the team.

Can see why he said 'loan or nothing', myself.

CMW is a wage being used, we'd be paying him to train with Bolton rather than the squad. Curle has said he wants to play a certain way so being part of that squad would be better for any players chances IMO. If they want him, loan him and see him in better detail - and pay for the privilege.
