I could never understand how he was loved by nearly everyone !! to me he was far to bulky, couldn't run and couldn't head the ball!! or tackle!!
I didn't dislike him just never understood why everyone rated him so highly
Funny isn't it how opinions differ so much on so many things we see!

Pounewatchy was great. after the clubber that was Gary Bennett we got a solid defender who could play football. excellent at tackling on the ground and was so calm on the ball even under pressure. As someone wrote in so Jack Ashhurst wheres my shirt. Stephane got the ball took a sip from his pina colada adjusted his shades and played it wide. then there was his surges forward.to look forward to.
