Said in pre-season that Miller would get a few this season. Has a shot on him that's for sure.

I thought the addition of the unsung centre half would stop our leaky defence

Good job I don't bet wid my predictions. :-)

Five bookings for us compared to none for them. Can anyone say Homer?

Still winnable, COYB.

That's what I'd be doing every game. What is there to be scared of.

Someone lock Jabo away from the horseman until deadline day is over.

Sort this [censored] defence out and we'll be going right up that table with what we have up front.

I know people hate Grainger and he can be dodgy at the back but he does seem to get alot of assists.

That's why i and some others prefer him on the left. He's too dodgy in the centre and he can utilise his best asset (his left foot) when wide on the left.

Excellent win. Total football wins the day. We've actually won two in a row, it feels like five years since that happened.

I was going to put a cheeky each-way bet on us for the title after Tuesday's performance at QPR - wish I had now.

Given where we've come from last season, I think this constitutes a decent start to the season. Only lost once in all competitions, away to the team currently in 2nd place, and have beaten two sides from higher divisions in the league cup. We look like we're trying to play football for the first time in years, we look like we've got a proper centre forward for the first time in years, just a shame we can't sort a leaky defence out.

Things look as though they're on the up and we're still to play a team in the bottom half. UTB

Good to come from behind and nab the win...

2 Home games now in League (Sod JPT!) then another decent following to York gives us a chance to build on this last few days...

UTB!

We finally got a win in August and first time in 22 games we've won two in a row. last time out was 31/01/15-7/2/15 when we beat Mansfield home and Tranmere away.

It is also the first time we've won two away games on the trot since we beat Oldham and Doncaster on 6/4/13-9/4/13 which is an astounding 56 matches in all competitions which just shows how bad it has been.

Yeah play Hanford, CMW, Sweeney, Kearns etc in the JPT game

I think you're allowed 4 changed in that comp right?

I don't want Jabo even on the bench. Keep him fresh for the league games I say.

I have to disagree on this case. For me winning breeds confidence so we have to go for the win plus this competition has been very good to us in the past and can be a good money spinner once you get into the later rounds.

Why not again?

Oh yeah I still mean win the game, I just don't want Ibehre or Gillespie risked.

We are fO*ked if they get injured, especially jabo.

We rested jabo, hery etc at QPR and still won.

For everyone having a go at the defence I wouldn't blame the defenders too much or call for a panic buy. Today both wing backs (Grainger and McQueen/Thompson ) were set up well upfront almost as wingers with little defensive duties.
It left Raynes in the middle Troy on the left and Miller on the right fairly spread out across the pitch and bound to leave gaps which any 3 players would but I thought they played ok considering.
Also some of the crowd need to stop panicking whenever we pass it around at the back.
On the positive it meant plenty of chances to watch and we won so it worked today.

I can't remember Raynes doing anything wrong today. Considering he said on radio last week that its the first team he's been in where he hasn't just been told to hoof it then hopefully he'll continue to improve.
