I think when we view old players people value them based on what they were like when they played for us. Anytime i saw Palace last season Murray didnt let himself down. I would have thought Palace would have kept him though.

I still remember years back i managed to convince two old blokes in the paddock he wasnt playing as hed been arrested for throwing stones at marra the dolphin in maryport harbour. Great days ;).

Ignoring that he admitted he wasn't good enough to get into the team when he was with us and needed to leave to kick start his career ?

He was never going to get in our team ahead of Hawley, bridges or Garner.
