Attacking full back who's perfectly suited to a 3-5-2 formation, played under Curle previously at County and likes him as a manager. His Twitter replies tonight suggest County were in for him as well and he seems to be suggesting a loan move may be possible when the window opens.

Did well at Crewe and Leeds been trying to shift him for ages. £5K a week apparently, and too much for Coventry in Division 1. Probably right about Swindon to replace Byrne.

Just been reading Curle's interview ont he OS and he talks about potential targets, says he has permission to speak to a player presuming that's Sheehan.

He also says he's waiting for permission to speak to another player, however the team he's at have had a number of injuries so they've since made him unavailable. He goes on to say he scored for his club midweek so my guess is Hallam Hope of Bury, been scarcely used so far this season by them.

Labla Offline Ball Boy Posts: 28 Likes received: 4	Curle actually name checked Sheehan in an interview late last week. I think he'd be a smart signing, we need to stop the rot in defence. Signing Sheehan and Leacock along with return to fitness of Atkinson and TAH would help shore things up. Looking back on the last few games we are conceding far too many goals (and penaltys) from set pieces.

Says he's having a fresh start so I'd say that rules Notts out. Just thought I'd point him out as Curle was after him early this season, not exactly a position we're desperate for but you never know?
