I get that, but if we want to actually achieve something this season, it has got to improve. I don't even think it's the 3 man defence, it's more the way it's set up with the massive gaps between Raynes and the 2 guys either side of him. We cannot possibly stay in the top half of the league defending like we have done. Teams are starting to work out that they can come to Brunton Park with no fear and absolutely go for our throats. We need that to change so that teams come here and feel a bit intimidated and cautious.
We score enough goals so we don't need a clean sheet every week, just a bang average league 2 standard defence would do. It's not too much to ask for.
