Probably the best start we’ve made since we dropped back into this league, we were so good going forward.

We couldn’t carry on with that and Colchester snatched one. By far the better side, but it’s Carlisle, and there’ll likely snatch something.

First 40 minutes is genuinely the best I've seen us play since the play off season.

Such a shame we conceded before HT as Colchester have some excellent players and I'd fancy them to score another in the 2nd half.

Callum Guy was absolutely superb, well played Riley and Mellish too as they've run the midfield so far. Need to keep winding up Pell as he's one tackle from being sent off.

Toure having his most frustrating performance to date, touches of class but has also been sloppy on 2 or 3 occasions when we potentially could've scored a 3rd.

Hopefully we can grab a 3rd, bring Furman on to tighten it up and look to hit them on the break.

Kept it simple, got stuck in. Won the ball back and got it forward as quick as possible.

Let's just hope we've not 'burned out' in the 1st half as our midfield 3 put an absolute shift in, we can't do that for the full 90.

Our midfield has been brilliant, totally suffocated them. Only concern is Joe Riley’s booking, might be wise to consider Furman not long into the second half.

I kind of do expect Colchester to get something now, it was a really good time for them to score, but still plenty of positives and play like this on Tuesday and we’ll win easily.

Anytime is a good time to score but I get what you're saying. Conceding two goals either side of HT is poor especially after playing so well. Listening in we should be out of sight. Let's see what we've got.

We deserved that win as we played very well. We look very good going forward and enjoyed watching it. Colchester are a decent side at this level.

Guy and Mellish had really good games.

I’m impressed. We deserved to win that and even when it came back to 2-2 the spirit to go on and win was there for all to see. Up to 5th a point from top! ?

On to Tuesday and Oldham who got a good result today. Wish they would let us back in the ground. I have a good feeling about this season.

Apart from the last 5 of the first half and the first 15/20 minutes of the second we were brilliant.

I genuinely think 3-2 flatters Colchester. Riley, Mellish and Reilly were all inches from burying their chances.

Really pleased that the group seem to be playing for each other. Also shows we're not reliant on Kayode, Toure & Patrick as none contributed directly to the goals today (although Kayode put a shift in all game).

We’ve beaten a very good team there in my opinion. That’s an excellent and deserved win.

What strikes me about this side is there’s no passengers. Every player even the flair players, even the subs, they all work their bollocks off.

It’s very rare that the club that goes to the top of the league this early in the season stays there, have always thought that it’s best to hit the top after Xmas then put your foot down and pull away. Fingers crossed that can be us.

You forgot to mention that was Colchester's first league defeat of the season, you really do need to a bit more positive there Wukkie lad, it aint hard you know!
