While I am happy with the result I think today proved Beech is not the manager to take us forward. Surely we should have been looking to next season by trying out players who will be here next season. Instead what we got was the same old rubbish. I've just spoken to an Orient fan who said that is the first time Brophy has played like that all season. He thought Carlisle deserved to win! The introduction of Mellish certainly changed the momentum of the game. Something clearly isn't right with the midfield pairing of Guy and Riley. Riley never seems to pass the ball to Guy even if it is the easiest pass to make. You can't fault Guy for hard work and effort but for me he lacks the flair which Riley occasionally shows. Maybe it's just because Guy and Riley are chalk and cheese that they don't gel together.
