Clough dropped is an interesting move. I’d play him before Abrahams.

Beech always says if you’re fit to be on the bench you’re fit to start.

He wasn’t great but we didn’t exactly play to his strengths i.e. get the ball into his feet.

I’d argue Alessandra is the most similar player to Clough. It would make more sense to play Abrahams down the middle and have Gibson / Toure out wide if you’re going to drop Zach.

However I’m not the next ‘throw in’ messiah working on a shoe string budget..

It’s been a very poor game, first chance they’ve had they’ve scored.

We’ve offered nothing, bad team selection

This sounds almost as turgid as the Hartlepool debacle.

Beech earned some credit with last week’s second half turnaround, needs to do it again here.

He played 442 in the pizza cup against Hartlepool. We looked really good

Absolutely awful half of football.

We look so lethargic and turgid going forward, on par with the Hartlepool performance. The only saving grace is Crawley are comfortably the worst side we’ve face this season but we’re hardly threatening them.

Midfield aren’t retaining the ball and it’s bouncing around the forwards like a pinball.

Dickenson the only real outlet, Abrahams has had no service and Alessandra might as well be on the bench still.

Wishing I'd stayed in bed based on that first half. We don't look like scoring. What does Abrahams offer this team? He can't hold the ball up and can't win a header despite route one being our game. Mellor looking decent again, that's my only positive to say.

Crawley are poor, we're worse.

Interesting fact: Crawley's home shirt is the red version of our home one.
