21/22 - Swindon (A) Match Thread

Sounds like a decent performance but need another goal. Anybody needing a laugh should take a gander at the misinterpretation of the BBCRC commentary over on the Swindon forum.

Example: Lummy keeps pointing out that a big crowd is likely to turn if they get frustrated, their interpretation is that he is saying they have already turned…



Edit: some more objective comments appearing during the halftime break. Guess those at the game are seeing it differently to those who aren’t

Swindon have been disjointed in the first half. In contrast we have been solid and assured. Hopefully more of the same in the second half.

Good half.

Overall solid, but we switched off for their goal and it was bad one to concede.

If Mellish had a right foot we’d be further ahead. Some of the crosses we’re putting in are brilliant, just don’t seem to have that pure 9 who’ll get on the end of them.

Sounds like we’re starting the second half strongly…

All they kept on saying was how bad Swindon are.

Jesus Christ beech nearly chucked that one away with that formation change, we were cruising before that. The man makes some strange decisions sometimes… What an away win though, up the blues !

I had today down as a win and we did, so all good!

Tuesday will be a good test.

Not sure we needed to go for 5 at the back that soon.

But, it is a fantastic result.

I look forward to everyone logging in and calling it so. There are no negatives to discuss here, so I don’t expect to see any.

I’m not a Beech fan but you can’t really criticise substitutions if we win!
