Roll up, roll up.

In his post match today, I'm going for...

- Distance travelled
- Referee
- Covid
- Dark Arts
- Injuries
- I'm not allowed to make excuses
- Nobody has had "it" worse than us

According to the club that simply isn’t true...

Who cares whether it's true or not?

It's not "Beech lie bingo" it's "Beech excuse bingo", get with the spirit of the game man.

- I'm not allowed to make excuses

This will probably get a trot out around the time he gets a bit under the cosh - 'Lummy knows don't you Lummy' should also be an option.

Nixon & Jenkins bingo would be the most boring game in the world.

There's potential for Pattison bingo mind you, although that takes place in the car park behind the main stand every week.

Sadly the “Back of the B stand boxing cup” is on hold until all challengers are allowed back into the arena. Boris did not seem to think this was an organised enough sport, as disappointing as it may seem.

See - I told you that he would ratch for Lummy at one point, very telling that Lummy has deserted him on this the last couple of weeks and it is a bit of an Alan Partridge moment for Beech.

Some of the interview sounded like an argument with the missus - all good mood today and Beech said that we should put the covid thing to bed, but we know that he doesn't mean it and when we get beat next time and he is in a foul mood he will drag it back up all over again.

I found Beech’s comments irritating tonight particularly after listening to the Barrow manager being so open and making no complaints or excuses.

I didn't hear it im gonna look at the positives a win even though we had nowt to play for the players showed good fighting spirit. It doesn't help having owners and hangers on holding the club back from going out of league two because they don't want to lose their cushy efl job or a chairman' who keeps getting praised for keeping the club afloat but every year he's been their they've not went up

So I think one person spoke well the other didn’t. So in your world I should support another team. Where I live I wouldn’t pass through Wigton fortunately.
Can you be more stupid.

Probably yes.

Think the season can't come to an end quickly enough.
Whatever you think of Mr Beech (I'm pro) it seems to me that the second half of the season has been a bit of a strain for all.
Bit of rest, reflection, reset then go again next season.
Hopefully with two or three key additions.

You’ve been touched by the mediocrity bullshit virus that pervades the club.

‘We’ll get by’

‘If someone comes along...’

‘We have a billionaire’

‘This is a stepping stone’

‘I would be a rich man if I hadn’t put so much into the club..’

Looking from the outside, it amounts to more of the same underachievement

Beech 1 Piglet 0

Today's excuse, used before but overlooked by yours truly today: - the pitch.

Apparently we're such a fine footballing side our intricate passing and fluid movement suffers as a result of "northern" pitches. The reason for our improved performance over the past two games (according to Beech) is it's warmer down south and thus the pitches at Cheltenham and "in London" are better quality.

That's a bit of a slap in the face for our Groundsman and team, but Beech knows best obviously.

His suggestion to level the playing field? "Lamps".

PS - the most entertaining bit of the YouTube post match is when Beech loses track of the question as he's distracted by naked men.

Sorry for my absence from the forum recently, I’ve only just composed myself after Tuesdays Beech’s post match performance, er I mean interview. Been rolling on the floor for a few days, my sides were hurting so much!!

‘We’ve had it worse than any team in the EFL’ or words to that effect. Wow just wow.

Also yesterday’s narcissistic masterclass just set me off again. He is absolute chocolate that bloke. He loves and rates himself so much he’d eat his own arm.

Wow Just wow.

Today was all about budget.

Whether we're successful or not next season is all down to how much money we spend. Just like Morecambe.

And apparently we supporters have unrealistic expectations, that's a new one. According to Beech we all expect to be the greatest team in the world.

He’s a bellend if he said that.

I expect us to challenge for promotion from the bottom tier, and that is far from unrealistic.

No disrespect to the clubs I’m going to mention, but we are a bigger club with greater potential than the following:

Cambridge
Cheltenham
Morecambe
Forest Green
Newport
Salford
Exeter

Yet all these finished above us. Bolton are a bigger club, of course - and Tranmere probably have more potential.

As for the rest of the division, Bradford are a bigger club - but that’s it.

It’s not unrealistic to expect a club of our size and potential to challenge at this level.

Perhaps his time with giants like Rochdale (cough) has left him unfamiliar with the lower leagues.

Edit: having read the transcript, I feel CB has been taken slightly out of context, and withdraw the ‘bellend’ remark.

A good interview to finish the season. I think we all got full points with the usual ‘no excuses’ ‘budget’ ‘work hard’ ‘represent the people’ etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzz

As well as the clubs we are bigger than, and should be finishing higher than, I also seem to remember, although please correct me as my memory is a bit foggy at my age, we were top of the league by a few points with games in hand. Or was that a dream??

Let’s be honest, he bottled it, and threw it away by poor management/head coaching. We won’t get another chance like we did until there’s a new man in charge.

Most of our recent managers have talked down the club as a ready excuse for their inability as a manager. Abbott was one of the worst for doing that. It is hard to argue with in some ways I suppose as long as we have our present inept ownership our present standard is likely to continue, if we had managed to get promoted how long would that have lasted before sliding back we’ve no chance of making progress regardless of who our manager is as long as nothing changes at the top of the club.

I’ll say it again-this was mission accomplished, not failure.

The club cannot afford promotion-the ‘custodians’ freely admit to running out of cash and spending other people’s money, their tactic over the last few years, has been taken away from them.Moving up a league would cause indigestion at many levels.

It’s 6 years next week since they started billionairegate.

I wonder what NC feels like every morning. The daily grind of ‘managing’ when he’s clearly smart.Where is his ambition??

This should be called more than just Beech bingo, every interview with any member of the club there’s at least 3 excuses. There’s a lack of taking responsibility, a lack of honesty and a lack of accountability. No wonder Beech makes excuses, he’s come into an environment which is rife with incompetence and excuses. Any manager that takes us up under the reluctant three is a miracle worker.

It should be of great concern to us all that absolutely no progress on succession has been made and doesn't look like there will be any time soon, especially now that EWM are out of the picture.
Let's hope that someone will come forward soon before there is nothing left to save.
