As mentioned on the game thread, but probably worth a thread on its own.
Seems there was a lot of problems yesterday. It’s disappointing because it’s the 1st game of the season and should make a good impression, but last season was such an improvement.
I can only comment about the east stand which was an absolute shambles, but seeing all sorts of issues throughout the ground.
We won so doesn’t put as much of a dampener on it, but it’s a money making operation and was dreadful, next time people won’t bother, drink/eat in pubs/clubs beforehand and lose the club money.
I know Clibbens reads this, Nigel it looks like it was a disaster and needs improved quickly, if it’s not already too late.

It’s all about the management contract as I said before.Just my opinion but there is enough going on without the fog of running a part time catering business
They used the one from stoke, ABM I think they were called and it was awful. The ones before them, from the sands centre or ran the sands centre were also awful.
Last season was much better but I’m guessing the staff left and weren’t replaced and they didn’t get enough staff or train them sufficiently.
I did speak to the sands centre guys who told me they paid so little that they made money every game, even with poor food/service.

Any players not in the first team squad, youth team and ticket office / admin staff should be working in the refreshment outlets on a match day.
We already employ them so zero extra cost.

Play for Carlisle United and serve pies if you get injured.
Or join Crawley, for example, with an extra £100 ish a month and get looked after.
Getting the owners/directors to do it however. To be fair to Suzanne Kidd shes the only I see working on a match day selling tickets etc.

You can sign for Crawley, sit on your arse and play for their reserves for a year or two then drop into non-league oblivion.
Or you can sign for Carlisle and kick on with your career at the risk of serving a few Brunton Pasties of a Saturday every now and again.

The risk is they get bored and actually eat a Brunton pastie which would finish their career immediately.
