I really wanted CB to succeed but definitely the correct decision, I think we need a clear out of the coaching team.
Keeping us up after Elvis left the building was vital and the first half of last season was really enjoyable.
Unfortunately it became clear he just didn’t have the experience and ‘know how’ to get us out of this rut and ultimately his stubbornness cost him his first, and potentially last, job in the football league.
Good decision. He had us riding high last year, but after our form dropped like a brick in a river, he never recovered and wasn’t capable of turning it around,
Im glad we’ve acted early. We waited till middle of November to get rid of Pressley. At least early October ‘if’ (big if) we make the right appointment to replace him our season can still be rescued. The squad isn’t as bad as the league position suggests imo.
Owners need to go now before we stand a cat in hells chance of surviving or making progress in the right direction.
Feel for any new manager trying to work with our present incompetents. Also time for PD to stand up and state his intentions for the club or get lost.
Never nice to see someone sacked, but it’s the right choice and thankfully with time for the next poor [censored] in the firing line to do something about it…but…..
The three mongos in charge and their pet snake oil salesman are more than capable of finding someone even worse.
Can’t see how any of the other staff can stay too, they’ve been integral parts of a failing regime…keeping them is like washing a turd, you get rid of some of the bad smell but they’re still shit.
The writing was on the wall a couple of weeks ago when our DOF made it very clear that the manager had got the players he wanted. So fk all to do with me. He, like the rest of us could se the hoof ball wasn't working.
Never nice to see someone lose their job but he was our of his depth and we needed a change. Probably a good coach but not a head coach. Wonder if threatened protest at Tranmere game came into their thinking
