Bit harsh.

Leaving Skelton won’t change a thing.
Don’t big yourself up by being the kingmaker Holdsworth (we all know you are crap at that) get on the blower to Michael Flynn this morning

Only if he brings his sister with him

I really wanted CB to succeed but definitely the correct decision, I think we need a clear out of the coaching team.

Keeping us up after Elvis left the building was vital and the first half of last season was really enjoyable.

Unfortunately it became clear he just didn’t have the experience and ‘know how’ to get us out of this rut and ultimately his stubbornness cost him his first, and potentially last, job in the football league.

Always sad when someone gets the bullet but right decision for all I think.Expensive day what with 6 bookings too

This is an excuse to take the heat off the horsemen for next weeekend...they probably know anger is building but nothing will change at the club till they walk..

No way Mike Flynn would come, as I said yesterday Phil Brown will be next if they go external.

Poor old EK tried to get out last season but persuaded to assist MB, now finds himself in at the sharp end.

Good decision. He had us riding high last year, but after our form dropped like a brick in a river, he never recovered and wasn’t capable of turning it around,

Im glad we’ve acted early. We waited till middle of November to get rid of Pressley. At least early October ‘if’ (big if) we make the right appointment to replace him our season can still be rescued. The squad isn’t as bad as the league position suggests imo.

Clint Hill might have came in until yesterday. I suspect saving a wage is more important than anything else though.

Owners need to go now before we stand a cat in hells chance of surviving or making progress in the right direction.
Feel for any new manager trying to work with our present incompetents. Also time for PD to stand up and state his intentions for the club or get lost.

I think Beechy will want some sort of remuneration.

Never nice to see someone sacked, but it’s the right choice and thankfully with time for the next poor [censored] in the firing line to do something about it…but…..
The three mongos in charge and their pet snake oil salesman are more than capable of finding someone even worse.

Can’t see how any of the other staff can stay too, they’ve been integral parts of a failing regime…keeping them is like washing a turd, you get rid of some of the bad smell but they’re still shit.

I’m thrilled at the prospect of who the fun boys three will turn to now.

Holdsworth need to go - 4 managers now and no success.
Can’t retain players!

The writing was on the wall a couple of weeks ago when our DOF made it very clear that the manager had got the players he wanted. So fk all to do with me. He, like the rest of us could se the hoof ball wasn't working.

And awaaaaay.

Hopefully the horsemen won't be far behind him as changing manager every 18-months is just putting a new sticking plaster on it.

I thought he was turning round the last couple of games.

Never nice to see someone lose their job but he was our of his depth and we needed a change. Probably a good coach but not a head coach. Wonder if threatened protest at Tranmere game came into their thinking
