I don’t like to see anyone poorly so hope he gets better soon, he didn’t look at all well on zoom at the last trust meeting. I wish him well.

Imo, not the right person to have on that board as we’ve seen by some of his comments. However we don’t really know what he’s done on the board because we are rarely told.

My worry is who will take his place, from the trust?

Answers that question.

I hope Jim MItchell is OK.

But regarding the nomination of a replacement I would have thought it was an ideal opportunity to let new members have the chance to put forward their opinons. Democracy thrives in CUOSC!!

UF would like to wish Jim Mitchell well as he deals with his ongoing health issues.

Agreed-health comes first and being on that BOD won’t be helping!

Think it's a stress most fans would not want to have to deal with , health comes first.

I have the utmost respect for Jim Mitchell’s contribution to CUOSC. He has, and always will be a Carlisle United fan. When the position on the 1921 Board arose, he was the obvious choice and, from my perspective, it was a role to which he contributed to admirably with commitment.

In 50+ we have known each other Jim and I have only had one falling out and that was during our time together in CUOSC. It’s trivial, to many, that we could have fallen out over football and how we perceived Carlisle United should progress but that is the irrationality of being a passionate football supporter. Anyway, I’m sure Jim, like me lives in hope that success for our club is just around the corner.
