What do we think, will he be the subject of a bid in January?
If so whats he worth, what would he go for?
I'll start
1. Yes
2. Worth - 1m
3. Sell 250k with sell on clauses
You aren’t seriously saying he’s better than Beardsley,Janson or Delap
I remember seeing PB-magical
The reason why he was given an international cap is irrelevant, the fact was he was a full international which will have played a part in any tribunal’s decision.
For what it’s worth I get the feeling you’ve made your last statement up anyway. First time he was called up was for a qualifier which would have tied him to Wales, but he didn’t play. He then missed out on the next 4 qualifiers before making his debut in a friendly a month later, in fact it was over a year from his first call-up before he played a competitive fixture for Wales. Hardly the actions of a country picking someone just to tie him down!
Think your point actually proves me more , what the point of having a player in your squad who's not good enough yet for the first team , They were giving him a carrot on the end of the stick.
Advantage of living were I do , Generally my local has some people who know football far better than me and any one on here but Lummy.
I think you’ll find I’ll turn out to be right.

So first they picked him to stop him playing for anyone else and now they picked him to give him a carrot on the end of a stick? Make your mind up, which is it?!
If they were picking him to stop him playing for anyone else they’d give him a competitive cap ASAP. The fact they didn’t give him one for over a year from his first call-up is pretty damning with regards your theory.
Like I said however, it’s irrelevant why he was called up.
Well ask these people who know what they’re talking about why it took them over a year to give him a competitive cap if they were so desperate to tie him down.
When did this “why did Wales give Ampadu his first cap” conversation take place with these folk who know what they’re talking about in your local by the way?
It's a bit like selling your house. You have several viewings, and if more than one viewers want your house then a bidding process starts. You surely don't take the first offer. A bit like this for Branthwaite. If you really want that house then you will try to outbid the others. Why not put him up for auction with a reserve of 1.5 million.
Beardsley played for Liverpool in what was probably the best team in Europe at the time before the tragedy in Heisell stadium.

I must admit, I am quite surprised about the comparison between Branthwaite and Ampadu.
In my opinion, Ampadu is a superior player by quite some distance (based on the you age of both players at this point in there career that is). Ampadu seems to have much more pace and in my opinion is a superior ball player.
Branthwaite will have a strong career in the game, in my opinion spent in the championship or at lower end Premier league clubs (Burnley, Norwich, Palace, the Baggies (when they get promoted etc)).
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a Leeds side struggling the wrong end of the premier league in the next 5-7 years.
Be cheaper at Lidl.
The fees being bandied about are £750,000 up front and the same in instalments, then there’s add ons after that, we’ve knocked back £500,000 up front already off Everton who will probably buy him tomorrow.

Not convinced it is the whole fee paid up front? Not the usual way that.
Normally that part is the total "agreed fee" and the rest dependent on appearances etc.
