Aye, he is. One of the reasons he was presumably sounded out as a realistic loan move. His name was touted amongst a few knowledgeable folk, on BBCRC, and by some reputable journos (granted Alan Nixon hasn't been as pinpoint as previous seasons where CUFC has been concerned).
He came through at Man City too, so would probably be quite open to a trip up north. I would suspect, if it is him that has came back available, that his agent thought a more attractive move in L1 was available for him which hasn't materialised. Logically speaking, possibly Tranmere? Although they ended up signing Morgan Ferrier from Walsall and taking Rushian Hepburn-Murphy on loan from Villa – so who knows?
All speculation of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if the deadline's ticking a bit closer and a loan up here is becoming more attractive for him with each passing day. Looking off what's available to see of him on the net, and the stature some hold him in, it would be an exciting arrival.
