Interesting little stat from our director of football isn't it?

www.carlisleunited.co.uk/news/2019/june/...-we-must-improve-on/

Maybe he's erased all the goals from set pieces from his memory that were scored by players who have left this shit show?
Because off the top of my head I can remember goals from Grainger, Devitt, Bennett and Parkes.

At least we're not Mullen.

The players who did score from set pieces have gone Devitt and Grainger.

Presume he means headers from free kicks and corners rather than free kicks goals form Grainger and Devitt.

I can definitely remember Parkes scoring a header Near the start of the season, but I take his point, Gerrard and Parkes probably should have got us a couple more perhaps?

I just don't see that it is in Holdsworth's remit to even talk about this. He cannot influence it- only the manager can.

To be fair he does say indirect free kicks

First time I have seen height mentioned as a factor I suppose that fits in with 2 six foot full backs signed

Be just and fear not

We scored some from short corners, Devitt scored a screamer from one. Also scored a few from the most criminally underused set piece there is, the throw in.

Hughie Mac at 5'9" could leap higher than Mark Beck (6'5").
Height isn't always the deciding factor in who can leap the highest.
