Stop bookings for celebrating with fans

A petition or lots of complaints to the FA needs to be done to change the laws.
1- a player can’t celebrate too much with his own fans because he gets a booking.
2- a player scores a goal and goes over to the opposing fans and can gesture to them. He gets nothing.
3- if a supporter ran over to opposing fans and did the same he would be arrested.
This needs to change, Carlisle players a few seasons ago didn’t celebrate with the fans at all.
What do you think? Lets celebrate and tell the FA

I know, when I emailed FA they said ye needs loads of clubs , supporters etc to get complaints in first. Cheers for the post

Maybe better to go straight to them because the FA didn’t come back with a very positive reply

I can remember Malcolm poskett scoring a hat trick at Derby’s baseball ground. He jumped onto the 80s high perimeter fencing and started shaking it. It was electric ( the atmosphere not the fence). If Poskett did that now he’d probably be banned for several games

In fact I think, poskett May have scored all 4 goals. It really was wonderland stuff 4-1 away from home to Derby county. Ah memories

Personally it pisses me off this running into the fans thing!
Having supported football in the 80’s we were fenced in due to pricks running on the pitch. The events at Hillsborough are pretty clear.
It’s often the case that players driving into a crowd ensure people spill on the pitch in celebration then wind up opposition fans. Eg end of season MK Dons vs Mansfield. It becomes an unnecessary flash point as some people can’t cope with others celebrating and take it personally!
I just think there’s no need.

As long as there are some goals to celebrate I’m not too fussed.

Always thought players celebrating in front of the crowd makes for a better spectacle than going amongst them.

Never thought taking your shirt off in celebration deserves a booking either.

Shorts, yes. Shirt, no.

My original point was what pisses me off most is a player scoring against the blues and coming over to us to celebrate. I.e Morcambe 2 seasons ago . No need for it and people are killing the games atmosphere when someone scores
