Found an interesting article on the Exeter trusts fund raising efforts, in light of the response from our own trust to the question of raising funds:

Which makes me wonder why our trust couldn't do something similar, given the previous comments of not being able to fund raise

If their player is sold do they receive the money to reinvest or is that against regulations?

Our trust gave some of the money raised away to charity and had a whip round for the local food bank.
