Well I’m just guessing by looking at them, but he’s probably heavier than Scougall

what sticks with me about him was the amount of times he would walk the ball into the net and more times than enough leave the keeper stranded on the deck. Superb player my best ever.

The midfield concerns me. We need this midfielder to come in but it isn’t looking good given we were due to get an answer today. Feel 2 attacking midfielders in a midfield 3 will leave us fragile and teams will get on top of us in that area. We saw the same problem in the second half of last season once Sowerby went back.

I just wanted to say thank you for reminding me of Gordon. God he had stamina ,all game he’d be running up and down. He certainly didn’t need a strength and conditioning coach.melbourneblues wrote: I used to get in the waterworks for free when I was a kid, watching Beardsley from that vantage point at the front with nobody else in the end was brilliant (well me and Gordon who used to pace up and down most of the game)

No surprise if Scougall and Bridge were swopped!

Yes that’s him. He’s aged a little. Haven’t we all! Also I don’t think he’ll be upto much running in the waterworks end now. We all lose a bit of pacenobbyblue wrote: is that Gordon the little fella. I'm sure I saw him waiting for a bus on London Rd not long ago.

Assuming Hope isn't starting, doesn't look like he trained today.
