For anyone interested, there’s a documentary about the football team on BBC Scotland (Sky Channel 457) tonight at 10pm.

If you don’t know your shit, you won’t know you’re shit.

Good story about them In Sunday Mail at the weekend. They are the perennial strugglers in the Highland League letting in 245 goals last season .

I see they've taken a host of youth players from Inverness for the new season but lost 6-0 on Saturday against Brora. Better than last season when they played them when they lost 0-9 and 0-11. :-D

Picturesque ground though.

Well worth a watch. Grassroots football and a lot of people working hard to try and keep things afloat. Plenty of funny bits too. I was amazed at the distances some of the players travelled just to get to training. Pity about the abandoned game they were winning.

Couple of years ago i was up there on a camping trip and did Ben Nevis... i went to have a deeks at the ground, its round an industrial estate and some social housing if i recall .. but it deffo had one of the best backdrops in Britain for a small ground.. Amazed they keep going really after all the duffings they take.. Be nice if a few old footballers moved that way to add a bit of quality in the highland league.. its on one of those must visit grounds

Given the amount of goals they concede I had half a thought that you were their keeper. :-D

Last night’s game was a cup tie so the search for a league win goes on.

Apparently, they’ve got 9 players on loan from Inverness Caledonian Thistle this season, 7 of them started last night.

There were some good quotes in the documentary. After a defeat against Keith, someone from Fort William said, “It could’ve gone either way, but it finished 11 nil.”
