Mitrovic had a Rivaldo moment there.
That aside Fulham look a very strong team at Championship level and are a shoo-in for the top two.

They thought that they were billy big bollocks when they dropped down the leagues and we fortunately were on the up and smashed them big style at their own ground which was one of those great moments, not the first time we have spoiled Kevin Keegans day.

Adam Faith on Budgie was looking hacked off one Saturday afternoon and his missus asked him why he wasn't going down to watch Fulham play and he replied 'They are playing at Carlisle' - made my evening that one back in the day :)

Keegan wasn’t their Manager until 1998. Ian Branfoot was in charge when we won 3-1 there in Oct 1994...

I should have researched that one obviously :)

Not anti-Keegan as he is a hero.

Still nice to get one over on a bigger club every time.

I was at the famous 3-1 win game.
I remember David Essex coming on to the pitch at half-time and getting roundly booed, but that may have been a different game.

One of my all time favourite away games. Carlisle United were outstanding that day. And a great weekend away.

I went to Craven Cottage around 1998. Ray Wilkins was coach or in charge? And Peter Beardsley was playing, and Steve Heywood was at Fulham too.

We lost 5-0 (May have even been more). Beardsley was a cut above, although he didn’t really
move away from the edge of the centre circle. Bossed it from there.

Terrible game, followed by being chased by Fulham fans. Could be wrong, but pretty sure they were chasing us whilst holding copies of the Financial Times.

Blue flags waving at the top of the tower...

I went to Craven Cottage and the boat race went past IIRC.

Or did I just dream that?

I was sitting a couple seats away from Cardew Robinson. One for the kids there! :-D

Early 80’s? Didn’t a crowd of Blues get on the BBC coverage at one of the pubs overlooking the Thames?
