EFL review of regulations and procedures of financial business of Clubs

If only they’d done it 2 years ago when they were warned by experts, why does it take what happened at Bury for them to act? Incompetency of the highest order.

They need to go through the process before they announce they are re-admitting Bury to League 2 for next season. They will admit some blame but will announce going forward financial scrutiny and wage-capping will be tougher. They know the conclusion they just need to be seen to reach it by due process.

They need to announce they are introducing an independent board to monitor the activities of the clubs, instead of directors from clubs with vested interests continuing to do so.
The Bolton and Bury farces, allowing clubs and to sell grounds to themselves, and having clubs sponsored by taxi firms with no cars shows them up for the tinpot chancers they are.
