I not making reference to this message board.

Rather in general, freedom of speech is under attack in this country.

The idea of freedom of speech isn't relevant on this site. It is a privately owned board, run by people who have the right to remove whatever they want. If you don't like their rules, feel free to go to another board.

I was more commenting that it's dumb to use 'freedom of speech' as a reason to be annoyed at things getting removed, since it doesn't apply here.

Those with something of import to share could stand on Warwick Road on a Saturday when the team are at home and hand out leaflets, engage in conversation, deliver a rousing speech via a megaphone.

But no - sitting on the couch in your underpants and finding a post in a messageboard has been deleted is evidence means the entire democratic system has crumbled.

I think this messageboard is quite relaxed and gives people a lot more freedom to post stuff they probably wouldn't get away with on most forums. But there are still rules, and if you break the rules you can't complain if your post is deleted.
