Anyone remember this game in the cuo early seventies. I was there and still think it was one of the best games ive been to. A big crowd 20k plus and an early goal by Gilzean for Spurs. Was a bit of trouble in the Warwick. Spurs fans were in there but not for long. A great day which i will always remember even though we got beat. Any memories from anyone!!

Was in the waterworks with the Spurs supporters. Never worked out why, maybe my Dad didn't like me.
Only memory is of the god awful dress sense they had, even for the seventies.

That was my second Carlisle match. I don’t remember much about it but I think Jennings, Chivers and Dave Mackay were playing as well as Gilzean. Maybe Ralph Coates too?

They beat us 3-1 here the following season.

I was at both those Tottenham matches. If I remember correctly, at one of them, the pitch side wicket fencing in front at the ‘boys’ pen’ in the corner of the Warwick collapsed. No wonder really, but it made the national news.

The fence collapse at the Warwick was against Everton as I was standing at that corner with my Dad but luckily just on the scratching pen side
