The same Frank Whittle who are currently involved with active projects at numerous sporting Clubs around the Country?
Only one set of comedians involved in Blue Yonder and don’t think it was them...

They seem to do quite a few concepts, but not many detailed schemes. The serious stadiums architects tend to be the AFLs of this world, or the London/overseas guys. Frank Whittle are bit part players from that business hotbed of err Preston.

They were willing pawns (only in my opinion). Look at the costs allocated for the refurb of BP as the reason to justify Kingstown. Was a gun held to their head? The only major maintenace costs I have seen in the last five years or so is in replacing a couple of roofs.CCU wrote:

They can only produce what the client wants, this is our BoD we’re on about here eh?!
The reported spend was in the region of £11k on a ‘Feasibility Study’, which is what was delivered. The material distributed in 2011 was perfectly fine, showing all possible sites, and what was also deemed the most ‘mature’ sites of these.
A quick look at FWP’s Portfolio shows plenty of work at Clubs such as Preston, Oldham, Accrington, Fleetwood, Peterborough and several more, also others sports such as Leicester Rugby and Doncaster Racecourse. Not bad for what you call ‘bit part’!

I’d say they’ve more than enough experience?
