Yes, always had good youth policy.bigboblee wrote: My uncle used to take me to watch Leeds when they had promising youngsters John Sheridan and Tommy Wright. Leeds had a good youth coach then in Keith Mincher, who was Carlisle manager for a few hours under Knighton.

Is Ian Harte not Mccaron’s agent ?
They’ve been spending a bit on young players, signing Galloway and Mccaron for 300k (ish) is hardly a risk to them
So where's the money then......the club have only received some of the McCarron fee so far as reported recently

Never had Dolly down as a dirty player, certainly not enough to be able to coach Leeds in the art of fouling.ParcelPete wrote:

I think the Leeds coach in charge of fouling knows Dolly.

We did well to get a penny out of cosgrove he had signed a pre contract agreement with them, also didn't it turn out to be 40k with a sell . That's a lot better than freeUrban Designer wrote: Will no doubt be aware that we sold one of the best strikers in Scotland for 20k to Aberdeen!

That’s an appalling deal if true. Even setting aside the fact Sorensen’s been shite.
What if Branthwaite doesn’t want to go to Newcastle and/or gets offered more money elsewhere? Wouldn’t have thought the club could tie his hands like that.

How many 17 year old move independently to the south from Carlisle? You could probably count them on one hand. Even the minority who actually leave Carlisle to go to University mostly go to Glasgow, Newcastle, Lancaster and Manchester.
