Worst I’ve seen is Mike Edwards for consistent shitness.

Webster isn’t quite that bad yet, but worryingly he gets worse every time I see him and even more worrying is Pressley never drops him.

Brightwell was ok. Hoping Webster will improve. Edwards was unfortunately finished when he came to us, he was as bad as anyone who ever played 20+ games for us

There's been worse than either!
Though Webster would be a contender for worst squad in memory. Brightwell wasn't that bad.

To be fair, Brightwell did score a rather important goal at the time, whereas Webster couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo!!

Dave Brightwell, I thought, was ok BUT Webster - this man is proper shite! And how did he miss that open goal! Then had the nerve to laugh about it, needs bombed out immediately.

That’s not fair, he was very unlucky with his tough chance tonight!

Webster’s performance tonight was one of the worst by a Carlisle United centre back I’ve ever seen - and I saw Keith Houghton.

If you don’t know your shit, you won’t know you’re shit.

Webster was probably playing at about his level tonight, going forward he cannot be a regular for the team a line should be drawn under his name and privately admitted by manager that his signing was a mistake and a replacement should be a priority along with signing Olomola permanently and replacing Sorenson in squad

Be just and fear not

Agree about Edwards being finished but he managed four more seasons playing at Notts County!

I’d actually say playing at that level week in week out he would still struggle, got lucky to get a foul against the forward when they both went over and almost handed them a second towards the end.

The two younger lads alongside him looked nervous throughout, the opposite to what i have seen of the Macc game

I’d take Brightwell over him any day

Jamie Robinson was pretty poor. Maybe he was just the worst player in a good squad at the time and if he was in this present team alongside Webster look like Bobby Moore.

Webster’s performance last night was in the Kevin Feely zone, couldn’t put a foot right.

Came across as a right bellend, smirking and sniggering all the time.

With Webster and KP you can see how they were on relegated teams last season... to think Kavanagh got rid of Livesey because he couldn't pass well at least he could defend unlike the current shambles

That's the problem with persisting with a bad manager - they could let players go that the incoming manager may keep.

Bloke from work back in today after a weekend away, hadn't seen me since the match.

His first comment was "your centre backs are a bit dodgy, aren't they? Especially that tall, cocky lad".

The one saving grace of the blanket 1yr contracts is we wont be stuck with this carthorse longer than the summer...if only we could move the board and Pressley on too
