as Long as the current owners are gone completely, there have my full support. Things can’t carry on the way they are.

Businessmen will need to be named, but it’s definitely the way to go - not relying on one person.

Interesting times

Nixon will be holding a meeting with Jenkins and Pattison trying to come up with inventive excuses to knock it back.

“No pot to piss in? Done that already... mystery billionaire? Nah done that as well. We’ll have to think of something else, my football league role is at stake here.”

Needs to be done very publicly with no where for the three amigos to hide behind their usual secrecy.
Any move to take over the club should be grabbed with both hands.
Any more of the present set up and it will be to late to save the club from obscurity.

Would the fact they’ve decided to go public suggest that their approach hasn’t been given time or respect?

Only ‘informal’ talks are mentioned, could this move be an attempt to make the Club get serious?

Well known tactic that by going public you create news and force answers as such...

Indeed. It clearly wasn;t the Club's decision to go public.

They were probably outflanked whilst they were scribbling out another Non Disclosure Agreement

Funny what happens when you have to spend your own money.

I’d keep Nixon on to the end of the season, gardening leave of course, if it meant he could finish his stint S league 2 rep then bugger off.

Nixon has had to put 100k in and I imagine it’ll be much more this season. I think he may agree to a sale.

Really hope that this is a well worked out serious approach that can't be blown away.
And that unlike other approaches they won't give up until they succeed.
Nothing that falls short of getting shot of the three incompetents will be acceptable no more investment just a straight forward takeover.

I’d be surprised if Philip Day has anything to do with any of the takeovers. Surely his position is now strong enough, ie he’s invested enough money and holds the security to back it up, that he could just demand repayment tomorrow and thus takeover without any real resistance.

Suspect the approaches alluded to will be entirely separate although Day could be the stumbling block

The 3 CLUBKILLERS have to be ousted and with no further involvement whatsoever for me to back ANY takeover. They have ruined CUFC and should be treated as such.

It is my belief that CUFC is owned and run by CLUBKILLERS

Hi all, bit gutted the news has broke as managed to keep it quiet for a while, but like most things it usually gets out so we have had to respond.

I’ll discuss it today from 2pm, not all of you will get the answers you want as there are procedures and scenarios and people wishes that I have to respect.

What I will say is, I know what the majority want, I know what is needed, I would not put my name to something that was not serious or have the clout to do it.

My little girl is going to grow up in Carlisle, so I want this to work, we will try, we might fail, but in the end the whole truth will be told.

We have to respect some wishes for a certain period.

Love it Lummy. Best of luck with it all.
I'm praying you all succeed here.

I haven't been to Brunton Park for over 2 years, preferring away games only, as I won't give the reluctant custodians anymore of my money.
If this comes off I'll be first in the queue for a season ticket.

Not to fussed about what Skinner has or hasn’t done previously, I trust Lummy, if he’s putting his name to it he believes in the group. - he’s a fan who cares about the club as much as us.

Firmly believe he won’t do this NDA - b******t, so the truth will come out if the custodians act dodgly.

So in the meantime let’s get behind, people trying to turn our club around.

And if need be try and force the custodians out.
